Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

Overview

PixelSync is a Chrome extension that captures web page content and converts it into a format that can be pasted into Figma. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how the extension works.

Data Collection & Storage

By default, we do not collect, store, or transmit your capture payloads.

PixelSync's core engine processes web page content entirely on your local machine. The captured data is written directly to your clipboard and stays in your browser. All capture data stays on your local machine and is never uploaded to any server.

To enforce capture limits, verify subscriptions, and process billing, we may store minimal metadata such as an anonymous device ID, usage counts, and billing-related account details.

What the Extension Accesses

PixelSync requires the following browser permissions:

  • Active Tabto read the content of the current page when you initiate a capture
  • Clipboard Writeto copy the captured data to your clipboard
  • Scriptingto inject the content script that serializes the page DOM
  • Web Navigationto detect iframes and inject content scripts into all frames
  • Offscreento perform clipboard operations in the background
  • Storageto persist your preferences, usage count, and anonymous device ID locally
  • Host Permissions (all URLs)to capture content from any website you visit

Third-Party Services

PixelSync does not integrate with analytics, tracking, or advertising services. To enforce usage limits, manage subscriptions, and process payments, we may store minimal account and billing metadata. Payment processing is handled by Creem, whose privacy policy applies to the transaction.

Changes

If we make changes to this policy, we will update this page. Significant changes will be communicated through the extension update notes.
